The Facts of the Winery Business

Once thing I've learned is that pretty much everything follows these ground rules when you’re starting a winery:

  1. Make a decision
  2. Find out you can’t do it that way
  3. Try another way
  4. Find out you can’t do it that way either
  5. Have a glass of wine and cry a little
  6. Try again
  7. Success
  8. Cut someone a check*
*The last step is sometimes repeated several times, depending on the number of people, and/or agencies involved.
